Personality: Malika is the queen of calm. Nothing gets her riled, no matter what, and some of the younger members of the pack frequently attempt to dismantle her mask of the calm, collected guard. She is not quick to become angry and is willing to listen to either side of an argument in almost any circumstances... except when it comes to the gods. She defends her beliefs to the teeth and takes no skepticism lightly.

Icy cold, stoic, and with a stone-faced exterior, it's hard to get her to talk to you on a personal level. She takes her duties very seriously, and though she is friendly and kind towards the pack, her hard and cold nature generally put other wolves off from her. She doesn't have much time to dawdle in lower level affairs, to be frank, and as such is hard to get to know. She's good at what she does, there isn't much else anyone can tell you about her. Not personally.

She very rarely gets angry or snaps at anyone, typically able to keep calm and cool under pressure. During a crisis, she's usually one of the few keeping a level head and barking orders. One of her greatest ticks, however, is disloyalty and dishonesty. She takes other matters in stride, usually not reacting much to them, but she feels no guilt from punishing those who deserve it. However, if you betray your pack, lie to her, or dishonor the gods in any way, you might get to see her collected exterior vanish... Though you may not live to tell about it.

As she is a female, she sometimes finds herself with males who think they would make a better guard or find themselves higher than her, simply because of their sex. Sexism is not something she takes lightly, and she has no issues with putting any trash-talking male in his place. With this, she also doesn't take kindly to any wolf that puts another below them for petty reasons such as that.

After the death of her mate, Quidel, and the birth of her second litter, Malika has become very cold and closed off from the rest of the pack, including Saurugol and her son, Arthur. Being crippled, she has difficulty getting around now and can no longer do her duties as a Guardian, which, accompanied by the loss of Quidel, has caused her to become shut off and very depressed. She is aggressively over protective over her two newborn children, particularly her daughter, Morgana. She birthed them away from the main den site and refuses to allow anyone to see them so far, growling and baring her teeth at anyone who dares try and sneak a look at the newborns.

Pre Group History: Malika was born and bred in Havir, and has lived in the pack her entire life, raised to believe whole-heartedly in the gods and what they do for the pack. She was taught from an early age to never anger them, as it would mean the whole pack would be punished. Her parents were a bit old-fashioned and expected their daughter to grow up and do her duty, at least in their beliefs, to become a healer or a nurse and eventually have puppies of her own when she was old enough. They even went as far as to find a possible future mate for her in one of the other litters that had been born that season, a promising young male named Quidel, and she was constantly being pushed to get along with him and hopefully, if the gods allowed it, become his mate.

Malika, however, had other ideas. She was generally indifferent towards her 'would-be-mate' but he definitely didn't rise to her expectations, and she wasn't in love with him. With constant bickering and tension between the two due to both of their parents' pushing, the two didn't have a great relationship and soon enough, the engagement was mutually broken off. She is not particularly fond of him, but doesn't go out of her way to avoid him if they so happen to run into each other.

Instead of becoming a nurse or a healer, she was set on becoming a guardian, which was one of the most well-respected tasks, in her opinion. She trained hard, despite her parents constant badgering that it wasn't very lady-like and she should focus herself on becoming a mother, or at least a nurse. She continued to defy them, however, believing firmly that the gods had planned this for her. After all, she excelled in her training and came out on top as one of the most promising future guards of her generation. Her parents eventually stopped voicing their displeasure at her decision, but still continue(d) to pester her about a mate or becoming a mother, both of which she is not keen on.
